So lets back up to before I was assigned to the boiler room story. I was teleprompter for Seattle's number 1 live news broadcast called The News Relay.  I just graduated  from SDSU and am 7 months pregnant with a baby girl, Demiea. My boss decided to make me new off-site anchor and my first story was the boiler room...     

Horror stories

My name is Suri, short for Surieta, I was reporting for the newscast I work for when the camera man passed out. I was alone. I hear something running down the stairs to the boiler room, filming site. I run to the stairs.
         I was trapped. Between this awful thing and a cold metal wall. All that goes through my head is 'what about demiea? What will she  do without me? Who will care for her? How will i get out of here?'
